I didn’t care for the way this looked when I re-blogged it, so I thought I would share it this way.

Writer’s block?
I have need to write,
And so my thumb taps away,
Finding letters to turn to words,
Words to turn to lines,
Lines to follow lines.
I have a fear to write,
To express what would not be expressed,
To think what would not be thought,
To feel what I might not want to feel.
I have a drive to write,
Not to forget the way in which words can flow,
To remember the joy, the pain and the release,
Which writing can bestow.
And so I write these lines,
No great expression,
No great meaning,
No great prowess,
But to know the words are still there,
Waiting for me to find my way to them again.
