The first time I watched a “Thin Man” movie, Nick and Nora Charles became my favorite cinematic couple. Played by William Powell and Myrna Loy, Nick and Nora are definitely one of the best cast couples I’ve ever seen. They complemented each other so well. Honestly, I wouldn’t have been surprised to find out that William and Myrna were a couple off set as well. Alas, I don’t believe they ever were.
Though there were only 5 “Thin Man” movies (The Thin Man, After The Thin Man, Another Thin Man, Shadow Of The Thin Man, The Thin Man Goes Home), I just can’t get enough of them. I watch them more often than I watch Pride And Prejudice. Shocking, I know!
If you have never seen any of the “Thin Man” movies, allow me to very highly recommend them to you. They are absolutely terrific!
