Now there’s a name for ya! — #7

It’s time for letter H, now.  And, since I don’t really have very many H- or I-names to share, I figured I would make this another combination post.

Henleigh/Henley — from the high clearing
Hayleigh — from the field of hay
Hannah — favored by God, or graceful
Helaina/Helayna — a shining light

Hayden — from the heather hill
Hudson — from the river; son of Hugh
Harrison — ruler of the army; son of Harry
Harlan — from the army

*                    *                    *                    *                  *                    *                    *

And now for some I-names… 🙂

Isabelle/Isabella — consecrated to God
Ilyanna — (meaning unsure)
sun ray; ray of light

Ivanna — God is gracious
Idara — a social butterfly

Isaac —
Israel —
the Lord’s soldier
Ian — God is gracious

If you enjoyed this post, please leave a comment and let me know!  Or share some of your favorite “H- and I-names” with me; I’m always interested in hearing what names other people like! 🙂

See my previous posts HERE.  And be sure to come back for another post next Friday! 🙂
