Wow, who knew these names had such awesome meanings! I really love the names Nicole , Nicholas, and Olivia. I also love the name Oakley ~ from the oak tree meadow. Great post!

I like the name Oakley too, but it just always brings to mind the sunglasses that my brothers wear.

I see you like my name and my cousin’s name Nick. I do love the meaning of my name but I am not that fond of it myself. I wanted to be called a way out there name.

Yes, I do. My sister & niece both have the middle name Nicole. And my brother passed his middle name, Nicholas, on to his son. I’ve always liked those names. 🙂
Though I do like my name, it would never be considered unique or original. And that’s one reason I chose the name I did to be my “pseudonym”.
Do you mind me asking what kind of “way out there name” you might choose for yourself?
