“My Stubborn Heart” by Becky Wade

I would have given this book 5 stars, but there were just a few things in it that I didn’t really care for that knocked it down to only 4 stars. Over all, though, I loved the story!
The difficulty that Kate had in following God’s will really hit home for me. Sometimes we say, “God, what are You doing?! This hurts and it doesn’t make sense!” And He just wants us to trust Him to know what’s best for us. Sure, it’s really hard sometimes, but it’s definitely worth it!

Overall, five star read! Emotionally evocative in SO many ways. And yes, all caps just isn’t good enough this time around. Totally awesome. Sigh.

It’s hard to rate a book from a genre I don’t normally read, but even I can tell that Becky Wade’s debut in the contemporary romance market is going to be a big hit with its usual readers. Becky has a strong voice that readers are going to love, and her novel is full of characters with well-developed personalities. This combination of factors grabbed me from the first page and made it very hard for me to put this book down.
