Hey, y’all! I’m back! 😀
Okay, I just wanted to let y’all know that regular posts will be starting up again next week. I’ll be trying out a new… system, I guess. I plan to have regular posts up every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. What will they be? Well, I’m glad you asked because I’d love to tell you! 😉
Sunday — I’ll be sharing a Bible verse or two with you. Something that has encouraged me or touched my heart and I hope it will be a blessing to you as well. You’ll probably be seeing verses from the Psalms quite a bit, but I’ll be sharing verses from throughout the Scriptures.
Monday — I plan to share pictures and videos that made me laugh. Some of these will be funny songs, or stand up comedy, or just silly pictures… I hope you’ll see something that will put a smile on your face & make you laugh too. After all, who doesn’t need a smile on Monday?
Tuesday — I’ve been posting book reviews on Tuesdays for a little while now and I plan to continue doing that. Some of the Tuesday posts may not actually be book reviews, but they will be about books and reading recommendations. And in January (possibly December too) I will be posting about what I’ve read throughout the year, what goals I accomplished, and what goals I’m setting for 2015… that sort of thing.
Friday — I also plan to continue my “Now there’s a name for ya!” posts every Friday. I’ll be starting back on the letter R next week. I know there aren’t that many letters left in the alphabet, but I’m considering other options, such as surnames (suggestions anyone?). I may, however decide to stop when I reach the letter Z. I’m just not sure yet.
On the other days of the week, you’ll see posts featuring these:
— music videos of songs I like (mostly Christian & Country, though there will be other genres too)
— “About Me” posts
— quotes from books & such
— and random other things, I’m sure 😉
On another topic– You may (or may not) have noticed that I have now updated the “2014 New Releases” section on the sidebar of my blog. It now features books that have released or will release in September — December.
I have also updated my New In 2014 bookshelf. The books are organized according to what month they were released. Check it out! Leave a comment and tell me what 2014 new releases you’ve enjoyed this year or the ones you’re looking forward to! 🙂
And… I have put up a new bookshelf — New In 2015. Since some of these don’t have a release date yet, I have listed them alphabetically according to author. Check it out! Tell me what books you’re looking forward to in 2015! 🙂
Well, I think that’s all I had to say. I hope you all have a happy and safe weekend! The Red River Rivalry football game between Oklahoma and Texas is tomorrow, so… pray for me! lol! 😉
