Éomer finds Éowyn on the battlefield.
This scene. It touches my heart more than most I have ever seen. Not just what’s going on in the scene, it’s more than that. It’s the way it was done. I mean, the acting was so well done– can you feel his pain? It’s heart wrenching. It’s also my favorite scene of the entire trilogy. It makes me tear up every single time! Yet I still absolutely love it. (Possibly because I know how it all ends — hehe!)
Anyway, I think the picture and comment below sum it up rather nicely. 😉
“I think the most realistic moment in the movie was when Éomer found Éowyn on the battlefield. When he screamed and cried, looking so lost… Karl Urban is an amazing actor. I was seriously astonished at how real that moment was.”

Do I even need to include a storyline here? Seriously, if you don’t know what these movies are about… just….. *sigh* Why should I even mess with it? You know what? I’m not going to. So– 😛
I will, however, go ahead and tell you (in case you didn’t already know) that this scene takes place toward the end of the third movie in the trilogy: The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.

Expressions Of Me 
Such an awesome scene. While I haven’t seen the movies, I’ve seen plenty of clips, and it does annoy me how much they changed, a lot of scenes, like this one (and the “I can’t carry it for you, but I can carry you” scene) are so well done and enhance moments from the books. 🙂

I have yet to read the books — I’m ashamed to admit it, but it’s true — so I can’t compare them to the movies. I’ll have to remedy that soon, won’t I? 😉
