Hey, y’all! Happy June!! π
I just wanted to give y’all yet another heads-up! I know I said I would be resuming posting the beginning of June… and I am doing that, but– I’m warning y’all now that my posting may very well be a bit sporadic.
The job I am currently working requires that I sit at a desk in front of a computer for about 6 hours every day. Β This is very straining on my back and shoulders (and having scoliosis certainly does not help matters any), and on my eyes as well. Β So when I get home, no matter how much I want to work on blog posts, I often don’t feel like sitting down in front of a computer again for any period of time to do that because my back is aching and my eyes are tired (and I also don’t want to cut even more into my reading time, which has been sadly lacking this year π ). Β My back hasn’t been giving me quite as much trouble the past couple of weeks– thank God! –but it’s still a pain. Β Literally. π
Since Cinematic Saturdays posts seem to take the most time and effort, I definitely won’t be doing one of those every week, though I will try to do one as often as I can. Β I will post Bookish Tuesday posts at least the first Tuesday of each month to show what I read the previous month, as well as whenever I have a book review to share. Β Sunday posts will continue as usual– at least that’s the plan! Β And Thursday has been pretty much a day for whatever random post I happen to decide to do so that’ll stay the same, of course. π
Anyway, I just wanted to let y’all know what’s going on… Β I think that about covered it! Β I really enjoy blogging and I do want to continue so please bear with me as I’m trying to figure out a better schedule and system for getting posts ready that will work for me.
Thanks for following my blog and for all the lovely comments! π
Love you guys! β€

Happy June indeed! A little late for me, but still. XD
I’m sorry you deal with back pain too ~ it’s a miserable thing! I don’t have scoliosis that I am aware of, but I do have a great deal of back pain on a daily basis.
So thankful we have a Savior Who is our strength!

I hope you’re having a lovely June, Raechel! π
Just a thought… if you’ve never been checked for scoliosis, you may have it & just not know. Mine is bad enough that I almost reached the point of needing surgery, but even a slight curve in the spine can cause a lot of pain for some people. I pray that your back will improve & not cause you so much pain!! π
Aw, you have experience there too, eh?
Yes, indeed! What would we do without Him? β€

Thank you! And you too π
Yeah, I’ve wondered about that too, but I have had x-rays and nothing whatsoever has presented itself…very strange! Wow, that would be a little frightening; I’m not a fan of surgeries. π Thank you, and I pray the same for you!

Hm… that’s strange. Who knows? I reckon it could be a number of things causing the pain. I don’t know why (and I guess it’s kinda weird), but I just somehow take a bit of comfort in knowing what’s causing it. π My sister has scoliosis too & had surgery when she was a teenager– not. fun. I am so thankful that I didn’t need to! π Thanks! π

I know what you mean! π I’m sorry that your sister has it too, and had to have surgery – no fun indeed!
Until He shows me differently (as in, if He wants me to do something specific about it), I’m just going to trust God to heal it in His timing! π

I couldn’t think of a better plan than to wait on Him and trust Him to show you what to do and to provide healing if it’s His will.
Prayers for you! π

Thanks, Chaya! I’m trying… π Haha! Yeah, since starting this job, my reading time has plummeted. I’ve only been reading about 6 books per month so far (that’s about half what I usually read), but I’ve already finished 7 books this month and June is only half over!! π That has me a little excited. hehe! π

π Good girl! π That’s excellent! I’m definitely behind in my reading, but I’m catching up, too. π What’s your fave book that you’ve read this month? π

My favorite from this month? Hm… Probably “Sins of the Past” — with “At Love’s Bidding” coming in a close second. π
