I saw Ally’s Liebster Award post over on The Scribbling Sprite (it’s fun, y’all should check it out) and I thought I’d use her list of questions to do another About Me post. Since I pretty much always do a list of seven, I picked my seven favorite questions and answered them here:
— What’s one place you’ve always wanted to go to, but have never been?
Scotland & Germany are at the top of my list. Really, I have always wanted to travel the U.S. (15 states down– 35 to go) and see some other countries too.
— Your favorite genre to read?
Christian Historical Fiction. Or Christian Suspense.
— Your favorite TV show?
Hogan’s Heroes, followed closely by Get Smart.
— What is the grossest thing you’ve ever eaten?
Calamari. I have never liked that type of food so I have no idea how my mom talked me into trying it… This may be tmi, but I honestly thought I was going to throw up right there in the restaurant.
— If you could choose one author to sit down and have a chat/interview with, who would it be?
Probably Jane Austen. I know, she’s dead, but you didn’t say “living author”. 😉 Living author? Mm… Maybe Julie Klassen or Colleen Coble..?
— What is your favorite word and why?
Whenever someone mentions having a favorite word, this is the one that always comes to my mind: Psychoneuroimmunology (the meaning, in case you were wondering: the study of the effect of the mind on health and resistance to disease). Just say it (if you can)– it sounds totally awesome! 😉
Honestly, I just like words with “psycho” and “phobia” in them. Is that weird?
— If you had to be trapped on a deserted island with one person, who would that person be?
Probably my oldest brother… he’s so much better than me at survival stuff. (As long as he didn’t hurt himself — our family & friends will understand this remark.)
Haha. This was a terrific post xD
